Anna Frozen Halloween

I was a make-shift Anna for my work Halloween costume:) I feel like every year I end up dressing up as a few different things...but that's what happens when you love Halloween!! Different occasions call for different costumes. For work I keep it low key (ish...). I love Anna's colors!! I just happened to have them...but all in shirts ;) I'm wearing a blue V-neck shirt around my waist (it has a perfect sized neck line), a light blue button down with a black t-shirt, and a maroon cardigan draped around my shoulders. I just work black leggings and black booties on bottom, and a gold belt around my waist, pointing down into the V of the shirt.

Yes, my costume consists of four shirts. Anna Halloween costume!!

Also, it was way too much fun piling on the eyeliner and mascara to create that almost cross-eyed Anna look. :)

Let's Celebrate!

Steve had lots of bubble wrap. Fun times ensued.  I don't know why it's SO FUN to pop bubble wrap. Good thing I don't work in a mail room I guess.

Bluegrassy

So it was recently our ward talent show and the Spare Tires had another chance to grace society with our unpolished and slightly out-of-tune bluesy licks. :)
Just gettin' warmed up:)

We decided to do "Man of Constant Sorrow," from O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (and yes, that's the crowd reaction we got, too;).
Mando.

Please check out beck's beard! (And of course, his and Phill's Manpris.:)

Beck on vocals, Chris and I on harmonies, guitar and mando. Steph on violin, Phil on banjo and Steve on drums. I looove me some bluegrass!

Hoppy Halloween!!!

Chris and me as a bunny and carrot for Halloween:)

Hoppy Halloween!  Okay, I know it's usually "Hoppy Easter," but I dressed as a bunny rabbit, so I think it's fitting:)  Chris and I wanted to do a couple's Halloween costume, but we weren't sure what we wanted to be until a couple days before our ward Halloween party.  He wanted to involve his green afro somehow (I mean, who wouldn't?)

We were sitting on the couch casually thinking of ideas, mostly being funny, and my roommate Beth suggested he be a carrot.  I thought this was hysterical for some reason, and Chris agreed that it would be an unorthodox and humorous costume. Then Beth suggested I be a bunny rabbit and our costume was born!

I found a little accessories set for the ears, bow and tail at Target for just $5!  I dressed in white with a pink tank top, and I think I was a pretty convincing rabbit.

Chis and I went to D.I. and found this TREASURE.  We were looking for pants, but orange pants are pretty hard to come by, so we wandered into the women's section and found this carrot orange sheath dress.  With an orange t shirt to go underneath, he's never looked so vegetarian:)
Just being weirdos

Bunny tail!

Aha! They tried to catch us kissing and failed.  Because we are kissing ninjas.
